Chevron has been one of the biggest trends of 2013. This ancient inspired print has been used for everything, from home decor to flags, and now it has made a big splash into the world of fashion. I love how it could be mixed with different colors, adding a fun and retro look to any item. This chevron printed maxi-dress has been one of my favorites because the colors complement my red locks and skin tone, and the turtleneck with open back, gives a sexy vibe while keeping the dress very classy and sophisticated.


I wore this for the afternoon/night part of my Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Day 2. I had a quick changed after my Mint and Neon Outfit and headed to host the Miami Swim Lounge where I got to meet the designers behind Accessory Fanatic and Bang Bang Jewels. I then headed back to The Raleigh for the Ipanema Swim Lounge where not only did I get to score a beautiful pair of tribal sandals, but I got to relax sipping on drinks and enjoying delish bites!

My shows and interviews for the day for Fashion|One TV were some of my fave swimwear designers. Nicolita by Nicole di Rocco had an incredible show that highlighted their “Perfect Booty” campaign, which its all about giving women the perfect shape to flatter their bodies. Mara Hoffman whose tribal prints and bold colors are beloved by celebs and jet-setters, impressed everyone with the intricated accessories on the hairstyle and shoes. Lastly, I met Paula Hermanny from VIX Paula Hermanny, whose resort and swimwear collection were full of feminine silhouettes and chic prints reminiscent of St. Tropez and Greece.

Did You Miss My Latest Post? MBFW Swim 2014: Pastels and Neons!

El Chevron ha sido una de las tendencias mas fuertes del 2013. Este estampado antiguo ha sido usado en decoración e insignias, y ahora ha hecho una gran entrada en el mundo de la moda. Me encanta como puedes de mezclada en diatintos colores y darle un toque retro divertido a cualquier cosa. Este vestido largo o maxi-dress en chevron es uno de mis favoritos porque los colores complementan mi cabello rojo y tono de piel, además que el cuello tortuga con la espalda abierta da un toque sexy manteniendo el estilo clásico y sofisticado.

Me coloqué este atuendo para la noche del dia 2 de Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim luego que me cambié del atuendo Menta y Neón que compartí previamente. Me dirigí a ser la anfitriona del Miami swim Lounge donde interactúe con las diseñadoras de Accessory Fanatic y Bang Bang Jewels, y de ahí me devolví al Raleigh Hotel para el Lounge de Ipanema donde no sólo recibí un par de lindas sandalias tribales, sino que también disfruté una tarde relajada con bebidas y comida super rica!

My cubrimiento para Fashion|One TV de ese día fué con algunas de mis marcas favoritas. Nicolita por Nicole de Rocco tuvo un show increíble donde se enfatizó en la campaña “Derriere Perfecto” que se trata de eacoger estilos que dan buena forma al cuerpo de las mujeres. Mara Hoffman quién es conocida por sus estampados tribales y colores fuertes, impresionó a todos con los zapatos y los accesorios intricados en el cabello. Al final conocí a Paula Hermanny de VIX Paula Hermanny cuya colección resort está llena de siluetas femeninas y estampados muy chic que nos recuerdan a Grecia y St. Tropez.

We will have make-up makeovers and touch-ups by Smashbox, Beauty consultations with Shiseido, Manis by NailBar Midtown using Clinique Nail Polishes, a dance performance by InMotion Miami and a fashion show with the best fall looks presented by moi!

Estaré de anfitriona de un evento fabuloso de Belleza y Moda para el Regreso a Clases con Macy’s y La Revista Teen Vogue en Macy’s Dadeland Mall el 10 de Agosto a las 2pm en Miami, FL. Tendremos maquillaje hecho por Smashbox, Consultas de Belleza con Shiseido, Manicuras por NailBar Midtown con colores de Clinique, una presentación de baile de InMotion Miami y un desfile de moda con los mejores estilos para el otoño presentado por mi!!
