Summer gives us the opportunity to bring out the colorful patterns and prints. I love this dress from Marshalls because its soft and feminine, the color combo its bold yet chic, and the shape its flattering. I added red accessories for the day to make it fun and then Black & Gold at night, from my fave frugal store Accessory Fanatic, to make it more glam. Meeting Giovanni Frasson, fashion editor of Vogue Brazil, was one of the highlights of my week. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the market, the inspiration behind the Latin fashion, and how to show the Brazilian flavor to the world through fashion.

I attended the launch of Alma Mei at Wall Miami. Alma Mei is an online boutique that donates 10% of their proceeds to a different cause every quarter. This time they partnered up with MTV to raise funds for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and MTV Numbers Campaign which brings awareness about HIV. Their clothes and accessories are super trendy, affordable and chic, and its shopping guilt-free all for a good cause! Read more on my article for NBC.com about this unique concept boutique, how they’re aiming to make a difference and how you can be part of it.
