‘Drenched In Gold’ At The StyleWeek Resort Soiree

It is with great pleasure that I bring you the first of my Designer Spotlight Sessions. First stop: StyleWeek Resort! A one of a kind 3-day event that focuses on the business and cultural side of fashion and designing.

StyleWeek Resort is such a special fashion and style event that is been supported by none other than the Counsel of Fashion Designers of America or CFDA; in addition, founder Rosanna Ortiz Sinel and Project Runway designer Jonathan J. Peters, share the distinct vision to showcase emerging talent and connecting them directly with buyers and the press.

My original FOOTD was somehow suited for the ‘Gold’ theme as well:

* BCBG Max Azria Dress
* Christian Louboutin ‘Yoyo’ Raffia Heels
* Michael Kors Handbag
* Givenchy ‘Charms’ Necklace
* Vintage Belt from the Alessandra Gold Concept Store.
* Michael Kors MOP watch
* Amorium Turquoise Bracelet
* Pre-Colombian Gold Bracelet

The Launch Party was held at the Alessandra Gold Concept Store, the home of Miami shoe designer Alessandra Gold, and it offered buyers the opportunity to meet the SWR designers and preview their Resort 2012-2013 Collections. 🙂

Alessandra’s unique styles are loved by celebrities and socialites and go from funky high-tops to delicate heels.

I styled a whole outfit composed by fashion items found at the Alessandra Gold Concept Store. The vibe was definitely “Wonder Woman Drenched in Gold” with a splash of color.
* Jewels by Amorium and YKR
* Clutch by YKR
* Shoes by Alessandra Gold
* Vintage Gold Belt from the Alessandra Gold Concept Store.

Since I’m a huge fan of art, I was really captivated by the choice of art wall as well as the decor surrounding the store.

The AGCS offers a curated array of clothes and accessories. Sakina Gulec’s designs for Amorium and YKR jewels really caught my eye because of their intricacy and attention to details.

What did you think about my styling? Did you like the art wall and the jewelry?

  2. that dress has your name on it. Come by the store someday, so i can show you other ways to style that dress. Just by changing the color of the accessories can do the trick

  3. I was just thinking “What a great belt” when I realised I have the same one, but thinner (and older). Clearly we both have excellent taste.
