Summer is over and is time to welcome Fall! Miami is hot all year-long, and although we do get to enjoy a few boot-worthy days out of the year, I wished I could enjoy the change of the seasons more often. Fall is also one of my favorite seasons when it comes to clothes. Is the perfect time to start transitioning from those summery outfits into a brigade of layers.
I love that we can combine prints and fabrics that range from sheer to faux-fur, and play with textures and trends. My favorite thing to do is incorporating elements from the warmer season into Fall and Winter. Is a great way to add balance and repurpose our clothes, avoiding unnecessary spending.
Another way I maximize my summer wardrobe is by wearing casual jean shorts with an elegant shirt from EXPRESS, add a dressier handbag from DESIGUAL, wear a statement necklace from STERLING FOREVER and watch from 1FACE WATCH, and amp up the outfit by swapping gladiator sandals for edgy STEVE MADDEN caged heels.

El verano se ha terminado y es tiempo de acojer el otoño! Miami es caluroso todo el año y aunque hay algunos días donde se pueden usar botas, me encantaría poder disfrutar del cambio de temporada de una manera mas detallada. El otoño es el mejor momento para transicionar la ropa ligera y comenzar a usar capas.
Me fascina que se pueden combinar estampados y texturas, y jugar con piezas del verano incorporandolas para el clima más frío. Es una excelente manera de darle un nuevo propósito a piezas de clima cálido y no gastar innecesariamente.
Otra manera como logro maximizar mi guardarropa es usando una blusa de seda elegante con shorts de jean de EXPRESS, una cartera mas vestidora de DESIGUAL, un collar con piedras de STERLING FOREVER y reloj de 1FACE WATCH, y cambiando las sandalias del verano por tacones enjaulados de STEVE MADDEN.

Playing with textures and patterns is so much fun when coming up with new styles… it doesn’t have to be left to the fashion designers. One of my favorite things for summer used to be denim shorts and one of my hot spots for shopping was EXPRESS when I was a college student. These days I like to shop at The LOFT haha!

It’s definitely that time of year. I’m in NYC so we definitely have disctinctive seasons. I love getting dressed in my coat and boots but I miss the ease of summer weather.

Your shoes are MY FAVORITE. I live in Florida too so it’s easy for me to keep wearing my favorite summer fashions into winter. I usually add leggings to my favorite sundresses for fall when it’s a bit cooler and wear wedges.

We don’t have fall and winter seasons here but some fashionistas don’t care and just rock great outfits all the same. I like your shoes but I don’t think I can walk far on them. Your necklaces are also making a bold statement. Nice!

Love the necklace. It looks great on you. The bag too, the colors really pop out in your photos. I really need to work on bringing more color into my fall. I tend to be too plain when i shop.
