“The higher the mountain, the closer to God…” This pretty much sums up my experience at Brimstone Hill National Park and Timothy Hill in St Kitts.. After spending an amazing day at St. Kitts Marriott Resort and The Royal Beach Casino and in St Kitts’ sister island, Nevis, I could not leave without visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site. I knew it had to be impressive, but I did not know it would be so impactful.

To be at the top of the fortress in Brimstone, surrounded by the history of the British and French colonization and the immensity of the ocean, is a once in a lifetime wanderlust experience. It can only be topped by seeing the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean at the same time on top of Timothy Hill.
The spiritual awakening you get when you are at such altitude on top of a mountain, makes you feel as if you could almost touch the clouds. Is truly indescribable.

Everything looks so beautiful. I have never been to St Kitts. I’ve gone to the BAhamas a few times and enjoyed a similar view from atop a monument. I love being surrounded by beautiful blue water! What a fun trip.

The view from the top looks really incredible and beautiful – the second last picture is my favourite where I can truly see so far…and those mountains in the water, super beautiful hey?!

What gorgeous scenery. As someone who is afraid of heights, I typically avoid tall heights, especially when I can be close to the edge and look down. But if the view is amazing, I can be convinced. Hope you enjoy the beautiful view!
