As a proud Colombian, I consider Cartagena one of the most special places to visit. The colorful streets, the fresh fruits and seafood, the history behind the city and its walls, and the never-ending nightlife are some of the things I enjoy when I go there. During my last trip to Cartagena, I went to meet the new TPC Cartagena at Karibana Golf and Beach Resort. The luxury spot gives you an exclusive view of the water from the hills of the golf course. For my outfit in “La Ciudad Amurallada” I had to represent my roots, so I paired an Express crop top with an abstract-printed soft denim skirt from Colombian designer Jose Cuello. I really liked his designs because he knows how to mix bright colors and bold prints in light fabrics, with incredible style and class. Even though it was extremely hot- thank God for cold coconuts-, a traditional sombrero vueltiao’ was the ideal addition to my look.
The history of the Spanish conquest and colonization has been kept intact throughout the city and its architecture, but it has organically merged with Cartagena’s modern society.

Great outfit! I have always wanted to visit Cartegena. Don’t laugh… it all started in the 80’s movie Romancing the Stone. But the culture, food and sights are calling to me. I love fresh seafood and would love to try it there.
