I have to admit: I’m a step away from becoming a vampire! I do not like the sun, I keep the shades down inside my house, and I always use sunscreen. I refuse to get wrinkles, spots, and most of all, skin cancer! I mean, my kids need their mom around to take care of them!

Tengo que admitir que estoy a pinto de convertirme end una vampiresa. No me gusta el sol, mantengo las cortinas cerradas y siempre uso bloqueador. No quiero que me salgan arrugas y manchas, y más que todo, prefiero evitar cáncer fe la piel y melanoma.

I’ve never used a self-tanner but I’ve actually been considering it to help my legs look like they’ve at least seen a little bit of sun lately..LOL

I also avoid the sun for the reasons you mentioned… I just turned 40 and people usually guess me to be in my early 30’s! And I also like how toned I look after I use self-tanner, but I’ve never been about to find one that didn’t have an awful smell, and that didn’t stain my white sheets. Maybe I need to revisit this…

When I was a kid I tried a Dollar Store Tanner and it turned me orange! I looked like an Oompa Loompa! I have since learned my lesson that not all cheap products are a great deal, these look like a better shade for me, thanks for sharing!

I love the Fake Bake spray but it helps if you have long arms to hold as far away as poss because the spray is quite strong. It gives great coverage, sinks in quickly, it has a natural look and the biscuity scent fades really quickly.

I have had a bad experience with self tanners before! I hope to try one out again soon, as I before a tanned look vs a pasty white look. I am going to have to try out one of these brands.

I have never tanned but I saw a tanning station on one of the beaches I visited and thought that was different and unique.

It has been a long time since I have purposely set out to get a tan. I’m not a huge fan of getting skin cancer either. I remember when i was a teenager, I hated using sunscreen. Now I kinda regret that choice. I am lucky though when I do burn it turns to tan in a day or two. I am naturally an olive skin tone.

I also don’t like the sun especially that it’s too hot now in the Philippines and summer was like overstretching its duration a bit. I’m afraid to get skin cancer so we make sure to always apply sunscreen before going out. I don’t want to look even more tanned because I’m already am.

I never intentionally tan, but living in Florida certainly adds some color to my skin. I love that you’ve listed quite a few different ones that fall within different price ranges. I’ve heard really good things about the Neutrogena one, so I may have to try it.

I don’t tan or self tan but I do love a great shimmer or glossy look for my skin. Will any of these accomplish this or do they have a product that would do that. Worth checking out. For now I would go with Neutrogena because I love their products.

I love the Neutrogena mist as well…doesn’t smell bad, easy to apply, and looks good on medium skin tones like mine. I will have to try out your other options as well…I prefer tan from a bottle because skin cancer runs in my family. Thanks for sharing.
