For Mother’s Day I relaxed with my family at the gorg Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort in Bonnet Creek while reflecting upon my journey as a mom. Been a mom requires wearing many hats, been on-call 27/7, and having duties 365 days a year, so it is great to be able to get away from the routine. It DOES NOT matter how old your kids are, you WILL ALWAYS be on mom mode. Why? because is part of the innate intuition and instinct that comes with becoming a mother. You know how I know this? because I have a mom myself.

One that has taught me how to be a mom, how to be an individual, how to become a good woman.

One who I look up to with the utmost respect and admiration because she has gone above and beyond to make me happy, make life easier, and make my dreams come true. I always knew and felt how much she loved me, not only because- just as I do with my own kids she repeats it to me 10 times a day followed by hugs and kisses-, but because her actions have always been guided by selflessness.

You know when I realized all of this? The day I became a mother myself. In that moment, holding my baby for the 1st time and smelling her hair, I knew what she truly meant when she says: I Love You. There isn’t a feeling in the world that can compare to that. The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek was the perfect place to reconnect and create new memories. The experience was incredible and we were able to enjoy their beautiful pools, have drinks at Bar 1521, dine at their 5 star sustainable Deep Blue Seafood Grill, recharge at The Barista before heading to Disney, and get some well deserved pampering time at Blue Harmony spa.

Don’t wait another year to celebrate your mom or yourself. Did You Miss My Latest Post? GREEN SANS ENVY, BRINGS HARMONY!

Durante el Día De Las Madres me fuí a relajar con mi familia y reflexionar acerca de mi experiencia como mamá en el Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort en Bonnet Creek. Ser una mamá requiere alternar muchas labores, estar de turno 24/7 y tener trabajo los 365 días del año, así que fué genial poder desconectarnos de la rutina. NO importa cuán grandes estén nuestros hijos, las mamás siempre estamos a la orden. Por qué? Debido a que es parte de nuestra intuición innata y el instinto que viene con convertirse en madre. Como lo sé? Por que yo tengo una mamá!

Una mamá que me ha enseñado a ser madre, a crecer como individuo y a convertirme en una buena persona. Una mamá a la que admiro y le tengo el mayor respeto porque ha hecho todo a su alcanze para hacerme feliz, proveerme una buena vida, y ayudarme a lograr mis sueños. Siempre supe cuanto me amaba, no sólo porque me lo dice 20 mil veces al día y me da miles de abrazos y besos, pero porque sus acciones han sido guiadas por desinterés propio y abnegación.

Sabes cuando me dí cuenta de todo esto? El día en que yo me convertí en mamá. En ese momento en el que abrazé a mi bebé por primera vez y sentí el perfume natural de su cabello, ahí fué cuando realmente entendí la infinitud de cuando mi mami me dice: Te Amo! No hay un mejor sentimiento que ese!! El Wyndham Gran Orlando Resort en Bonnet Creek fué el escenario perfecto para reconectar con mi familia y crear nuevos recuerdos. La experiencia fué increible ya que pudimos disfrutar sus bellas piscinas, tomar unos cócteles en el Bar 1521, cenar en el Deep Blu donde toda la comida de mar es sostenible y fresca, recargar baterías en The Barista antes de salir a Disney, y ser consentidas en el Blue Harmony Spa.
