Paris has always been one of favorite places to visit. The architecture, art, scenery, and fashion, have lured me in since very young. Walking the city makes you feel as if you were going back in time, and everything around it recalls a specific moment in history, and makes you feel welcomed to become part of it. As you can tell, I am a total history buff. I believe that knowing where we come from, helps us see where we are going, and make better choices about our future. There is a saying that goes: “those who don’t know their story, are sentenced to repeat it”, and I for one, wouldn’t like to walk someone else’s path.

At times we think we aren’t supposed to do something, or be somewhere, but I believe we are always meant to. I have learned that only by jumping, aka taking chances, and having faith that God or the Universe will be there to catch us, it’s that we are able to surpass our expectations for a happy and successful life. This trip was anything but expected, and it changed my life in more ways than one. It reminded me of how time can go through our hands like sand through an hourglass, and how precious it is to keep the wonder that we are born with.

Now, as I enter my bday month, I can’t help but ask myself: Am I trusting in my instincts?, Am I believing in myself? Now, Ask yourself: Are you following your dreams? Are you ready to take a leap of faith this year and jumping? Did You Miss My Latest Post? ORANGE-YOU GLAD TO SEE ME?!

Paris siempre ha sido uno de mis lugares favoritos para visitar. La arquitectura, arte, paisaje y la moda me han atraído desde pequeña. Caminar la ciudad te hace sentir como si retrocedieras el tiempo. Todo a su alrededor te hace recordar un momento específico de la historia y te invita a convertirte en parte de él. Como se pueden dar cuenta adoro aprender acerca de nuestro mundo. Considero que conocer de donde venimos nos ayuda a determinar hacía donde nos dirigimos y tomar mejores decisiones sobre nuestro futuro. Como dice el dicho: “Quién no conoce su historia está condenado a repetirla”, y yo no deseo caminar por otro sendero sino el mío.

A veces pensamos que no debemos hacer algo o estar en cierto lugar, pero es mi creencia que de cierta manera estamos destinados a vivir ese momento. He aprendido que solamente podremos sobrepasar nuestra expectativas de una vida feliz y exitosa, si nos damos la oportunida de creer que Dios o el Universo estarán allí para ayudarnos. Este viaje fue todo excepto anticipado y haberlo aceptado me cambió la vida de muchas maneras. Me recordó como el tiempo se deshace de nuestras manos como la arena en un reloj, y lo importante que es mantener el asombro con el que nacemos.

Ahora que entro mi mes de cumpleaños, no puedo dejar de preguntarme a mí misma si estoy siguiendo mis instintos o si estoy creyendo en mí misma. Ahora pregúntate tú: ¿Estás siguiendo tus sueños? ¿Estás listo para tener fe y saltar hacia las nuevas oportunidades?.
