I had the privilege to host the Teen Vogue Magazine Back-To-School Saturday event at Macys Dadeland Mall in Miami. Having the opportunity to work with such fab glossy and the biggest retailer in the U.S, was definitely a great experience. The soiree consisted of a cool dance performance by InMotion Miami, a Fall fashion show divided in 4 with different looks, and beauty treats from Smashbox, Shiseido and Clinique. NailBar Midtown did my nails pink and purple with an Aztec/tribal design, and the HF emblazoned in the middle!
To wear to the event, I chose this colorful red and purple XOXO maxi dress with cut-outs accented with black and gold statement jewelry from Macys. Now, I have always been a bit apprehensive about cut-outs but the sides of this dress were not deep and the middle panel was very flattering. The necklace and bracelets complemented the look without overwhelming it, and my Coach beach embroidered wedges allowed me to be comfortable throughout the event!

Did You Miss My Latest Post? Fashion Trends: Lucite Heels Under $50!!

When the cut-outs are tastefully tailored, I like them 🙂 Adds a little cheekiness, without pushing the envelope too far.
