As I previously said, I’m part of an amazing photo campaign for ‘Fashion For A Cause’ which benefits the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Myself, along with other fashion bloggers, were asked to style the official tee (designed by my fellow blogger buddy Annie V.) and join Getty Images (MBFW) celebrity photographer Alexander Tamargo at the beautiful Shelborne Hotel.

As you can see, I transformed the collar and turned the tee into a boat style shirt. I’m a huge fan of this style because it’s sexy without been too revealing, leaving a bit to the imagination! I also transformed the skirt from a full length to a high-low hem!! I added some killer cinderella heels and tons of jewels to give this t-shirt a night life!! These DIY were super easy! 🙂

Steps For High-Low Skirt/ Pasos Para Hacer La Falda Larga-Corta:
* Stand straight and use pins or make a mental note of where the skirt should end in the front.The best it’s about a hand before the knees but it’s all about the body shape/ Mantente de pie y usa pinzas o una nota mental de donde debe terminar la falda en el frente. Lo mejor es que sea una mano antes de la rodilla.
* Lay the skirt and cut the front and then the sides in kinda a V-shape to have it flow. Sew in the hem and enjoy!! /Despliega la falda y corta el frente con los lados en forma de V para darle una forma que fluya. Cose el dobladillo y disfruta!

Steps For Tee/ Pasos Para La Camisa:
 * Try the tee and use pins to shape where to cut it. The best place is half a finger after the collar-bone/ Pruebate la camisa y usa pinzas para dar forma a donde debe ser cortada. El mejor lugar es medio dedo despues de la clavicula.
 * Cut it and sew the ridges. If you don’t do this then the seams might rip and ruin the shirt. The best trick is to begin from the sleeve from the outside. Wear and Support!!/ Corta los lados y cose la parte cortada. Si no haces esto, puedes arriesgarte a que se enreden hilos o se rueda el borde. El mejor truco para que no se note lo cosido es comenzar desde la manga por el lado de afuera hacia adentro. Pontela y Muestra Tu Apoyo Contra El Cancer de Seno!!
