I hope your week is going good! On my end I can tell you I’m under the weather, so please pardon moi as I catch up with my emails, comments, reads, tweets and such!

On my Wearable Whims Wednesday part of the Haute Series, I will introduce you to different designers, new collections, boutiques and more from a street-style point of view! The idea is to get inspired through a realistic and approachable perspective!

Last night, I was invited to an exclusive bloggers-only preview and review party for the Nicole Richie for Macys Impulse collection. Despite that I wasn’t feeling well, I decided I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get first look of the collection as well as enjoy a good time with fellow fashion bloggers.

My Frugalicious Outfit of the Day/ Mi Estilo del Dia:
* Nordstrom green jeans/ jeans tahiti
 * Rose & Coral Blouse/ Blusa
* Michael Kors Leopard Belt/ Correa de Leopardo
* PreColombian Gold Necklace/Collar de Oro Precolombino
* Amorium Bracelets/Brazaletes
* L.A.M.B Wedges/ Zapatos

The line is totally bohemian-chic with a bit of a vintage edge and at frugalicious prices from $39 to $100!! Velvet, chiffon, faux fur and leather were the main fabrics. The collection was made of dresses, skirts, jackets/blazers and blouses. Floral and geometrical prints were the choice for most of the dresses and blouses. The color palette its perfect for the upcoming fall: emerald greens, cobalts, wines, mustard and the classic neutrals black/white/taupe combos.

My fave picks were:
 * A Navy Chiffon Blouse with Leather-Detailed Shoulders: the fit its great because it’s not too long or too loose which gives a flattering shape to the body. On this piece, I liked the button details and the style of the neck the most.

* Leather & Faux Fur Short Jacket: this was a no-brainer. I’m a huge fan of winter and since its always sunny in Miami, it’s really hard to use thick/warm fabrics. On this piece, I liked the short length which I found flatters the body, and since I’m detailed oriented, I couldn’t help but notice the cool zippers and buttons.

*  Long Toupe Blazer: This is a staple for any wardrobe. A blazer complements jeans, dresses, suits and skirts perfectly. By using the right accessories, it can easily be taken from the office to a brunch. On this piece, I liked the lightweight and soft fabric, and the studded shoulders. It was a great change from frontal embellishments and a cool way to add edge to a very classic piece.

Hola Amantes de la Moda!

Espero que tú semana esté llendo bien. De mi lado te puedo decir que he estado un poco enfemita, asi que por favor discúlpame mientras me actualizo con mis correos, tweets, comentarios y demás.

En mi Haute Series (Serie de la Alta Moda ) de los miercoles Wearable Whims (Caprichos Vestibles), te voy a introducir a nuevos diseñadores, boutiques, colecciones, pero de un punto de vista mas pragmático y común. La idea es presentar el estilo que se encuentra en las calles y que trae inspiración a todos los fashionistas.

Anoche fuí invitada a un evento exclusivo para fashion bloggers, o escritoras de la moda, para ver de cerca y probarme antes que nadie la nueva colección de Nicole Richie para Macys Impulse. A pesar de que no me sentía muy bien, decidí atender y ver de cerca antes que nadie los diseños, y pasar un rato ameno con otras bloggeras.

La línea es totalmente bohemia-chic con un toque antiguo y atrevido y a unos precios frugalicious de $39 hasta $100!!. Terciopelo, chifon, piel y cuero fueron las telas mas usadas. La colección incluyo vestidos, fladas, blusas y chaquetas. Los estampados florales y geométricos no podian faltar ya que son clásicos estilos de Nicole Richie. La paleta es perfecta para el otoño: verde esmeralda, azul cobalto, vinos, mostaza y tonos neutrales.

Mis Piezas Favoritas:
 * Blusa Azul Oscura de Chifon Con Los Hombros De Cuero: la forma cae de una manera halagadora ya que no es ni muy larga ni muy suelta, lo cual favorece la figura. Me gustaron mucho los botones y el corte del cuello.

* Chaqueta de Cuero Suave con Piel: Esta elección fué muy sencilla. A mí me encanta el frio y el invierno, pero como en Miami es soleado todo el año, es difícil tener oportunidades para usar materiales mas gruesos. Me encantó porque al ser corta deja entrever las caderas y da mejor forma a la cintura. Como soy muy inclinada a los accesiorios y detalles, puedo decir que de esta pieza me encantaron los botones y zippers.

* Blazer/Chaqueta Larga Beige: Una chaqueta de corte elegante siempre va a ser una pieza primordial en cualquier guardarropa. Con los accesorios correctos puede ser llevada de la oficina a un brunch (almuerzo-lunch) sin problema alguno. Me encantó que es super liviana y suave, además de que los detalles en los hombros le dan in aire provocador a esta pieza tan clásica.
