Dreaming In Technicolor: Seafoam & Aqua

There are colors that just make you feel like in heaven! For me, seafoam, aqua and mint are the ones that do the trick! These colors really have an effect on my mood and overall personal feeling, and every time I add them to an outfit, I feel like in Greece (Major Goddess Complex! 😉

It has been proven that colors can alter your mood. From making you hungry, hello red & yellow McD combo!, to allowing you to relax and be soothed. Personally, I could not imagine a bright neon green massage room or a lavender & pink fast food place!

I decided to make a list of my technicolor obsessions and latest finds that will just melt your heart!! I divided the list in various parts starting with Part I: Seafoam & Aqua! Stay tuned for the rest!

  1. Some beautiful choices. I was looking for dress recently for a wedding and chose a seafoam high-low maxi dress. It’s such a pretty colour and it going to go great with my red/auburn hair. Thinking of dying it a bit more red. Loving your blog 🙂

  14. Great colors, good for calming nervousness, hypertension, or migrane. To know which color makes a woman feel like a goddess, she must first know if her skin has high value, high contrast, or low value and low contrast, or a combination.

      1. I would be glad to elaborate, but a few lines will not be sufficient to explain in details. Colors are all about the electromagnetism we exude. Value and contrast have to do with the tonality of our skin, eyes, hair and volume. For example, the dress with the rosette under the breast and color gradation, might not be good for someone with heavy bottom and high contrast face, because the dark color is at the top and the lighter color is at the bottom.   17. I will return to black each and every time I want to bring my inner goddess to the fore. I like blush pink for when I am feeling super feminine and for me it’s more fabrics that have an effect on me than colour, but I’m embracing prints a little a feeling bolder, so this might just be changing!
