I keep on finding myself more and more drawn to Neons. Is like a sugar rush I can’t get rid off! but who doesn’t enjoy the feeling in the meantime?
I love how Neon colors complement an outfit and add the vibrancy that we all need in our lives.
Some personal tips:
*Mixed with white, it adds a laid-back, cool California girl vibe.
*Mixed with darks (black/charcoal), it adds a certain sexiness, and edgy feel to the outfit.
*Mixed with Earthy neutrals, it gives a pop of color, taking the ensemble a notch without putting it on the spot.
Now if you are going to mix Neons with other colors:
*Choose no more than 3 colors and make sure they complement each other (look at a color wheel).
*make one brighter than the other/s to avoid a fight for the spotlight.
*If you decide to add a neutral tone to the mix you will create a look that is classy and fun at the same time.
As I said on my previous post, Finds Under $50, I found too many amazing things at Nordstrom so I decided to divide the list in two! This part is Under $100. All from Nordstrom, all frugalicious!!
