Visiting Paris for Fashion Week is one of my favorite things to do, and having the chance to see so many collections up-close, is definitely a dream come true. The Palace of Versailles is always a must go-to place for many reasons. It is an enchanting spot that makes you feel in between the old and new world. It reminds you of the beauty and decadence, and the tragedy behind one of the most beautiful places in France.
You can breathe and feel the history and the love that accompanies the tumultuous story of Napoleon and Marie Antoinette.
I think this transfers to fashion. There is a reason why French women are notable for their effortlessly chic way of dressing. They mix textures, patterns and colors without fear, but with plenty of class. The level of craftsmanship and attention to details seeing on a Parisian runway are above anything you could imagine. Even up-and-coming designers work with a standard of perfection and sophistication that do not need to be called Couture in order to look and feel like they are.
Jeremy’s collaboration with Miley Cyrus came in a very organic way because they are friends, so when he mentioned how she should design jewelry for the show, she agreed in a heartbeat! Continue reading →
Visiting New York is always one my favorite things to do. The atmosphere, the architecture, the fashion, everything is an ode that speaks to my heart. This year Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week did not disappoint. The collections were fabulous, the weather was gorgeous, and the events were never-ending. I love this flower set from PrettyODD Boutique because it has a fun yet chic print, and the delicate sheer panels make it look sexy without been revealing at all. Since it was a bit chilly I decided to incorporate the GUESS Fur vest which definitely added a touch of glam to the outfit. It was perfect look to attend the gorg BCBGMaxAzria morning show, because is the easiest way to take summer looks, and transition them into fall. Finished it off with my new Tory Burch sunnies, BCBGMaxAzria gunmetal cutch, H&M Crystal necklace, and Coach wedges.

This is a paid campaign in collaboration with JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® and Latina Bloggers Connect, but all opinions and experiences are my own!
About a month ago I was asked by JOHNSON’S® Baby to be part of their NO MORE TANGLES® Mother & Daughter video campaign. It was truly an honor to be requested for this wonderful initiative, but as a mom who tries to keep her kids’ privacy, I had to give it some thought. I’m sure many moms go through the same concerns with the easy social media access; however, after some thought, I knew this was something we had to do! I mean, who can say no to a partnership with a family brand like JOHNSON’S®, and to spending a fun mommy & me day? Sophie and I love creating fun braids, buns and ponytails because they are the ideal look for this hot season, so this project was a perfect fit for us.
