Haute Feature: Olay Total Effects CC Cream Video Shoot

I love sharing my beauty tips, tricks and things that make my routine easier and effective. As you know, when it comes to skin care, I’m all about products that improve your complexion, give you glowing skin and bring back the youthful look. During my trip to New York all my beauty essentials were tested in a major way, mainly due to the harsh weather my skin had to endured, and the lack of time to get ready. Thankfully Olay sent me, about a month before my trip, the new Total Effects CC Cream Color Correcting.

Merging a primer, foundation, moisturizer and sunscreen in one? Best idea after the wheel! As a mom-on-the-go, whose time to get ready its always shortened by the kids’ needs, I’m beyond appreciative of having my beauty routine reduced without compromising the overall look. Since trying it, I don’t leave the house without my Olay Total Effects CC Cream because its lightweight, works as a tinted moisturizer, helps even out my skin tone, reduces fine lines (lord knows we all fight against those), and gives me a natural glow. If I’m doing a photo or video shoot, then I layer it under my Chanel foundation for more coverage, and to avoid using extra product!

Me encanta compartir mis consejos, trucos y productos de belleza que hacen mi rutina más fácil y efectiva. Para mí lo mas importante es confiar en aquellos que mejoran la complexión, dan luminosidad y te ayudan a recuperar la juventud de la piel. Durante mi viaje a Nueva York mis productos de belleza fueron puestos a prueba con el duro clima y la falta de tiempo para arreglarme. Afortunadamente Olay me envió un mes antes de mi viaje la nueva Crema CC, o correctora de color, Efectos Totales.

Combinar un fijador de maquillaje, base, humectante y bloqueador solar en uno? La mejor idea después de la rueda! Como soy una mamá que siempre está ocupada, el tiempo para arreglarme se acorta debido a las necesidades de mis niños, así que me siento agradecida cuando puedo tener una rutina más rápida sin tener que sacrificar el lucir bien! Desde que comenzé a utilizar la Crema CC Total Effects de Olay no dejo la casa sin colocármela ya que es ligera, sirve como humectante con color, ayuda a mejorar las manchas en la piel, reducir las lineas finas (las cuales todas queremos combatir!), y además da una luminosidad natural. Si hago una sesión de fotos y estoy filmando un video entonces la uso antes de mi base de maquillaje Chanel para obtener mayor cobertura sin tener que usar mucho producto.

Beauty Essentials: Lumiere de Vie by Amber Ridinger

My trip to New York for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was amazing but the weather, to be completely honest, was really dreadful. Tons of snow, freezing rain, muddy sidewalks, slippery streets and that cold wind that hits against your face like thousands of needles. Since I was aware of how awful the climate was going to be, I packed my beauty essentials in my two 50 pound suitcases (yes, gasp!), along with a newbie I had began to love: Lumiere de Vie (Light of Life) Serum Concentrate by Amber Ridinger.20130201_161839

The Serum Concentrate uses lighteners, antioxidants and sea extracts to promote collagen for firmer-looking skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, making skin radiant, with a younger-looking complexion and feeling smooth and supple. My skin looks and feels soft, dewy, healthy and renewed! It has been such a great experience that I haven’t used a moisturizer or primer ever since! All I used to fight the harsh cold weather in New York, and what I use to combat the hot humid climate of Miami, its Lumiere de Vie Serum Concentrate.

I’m often hesitant about trying new products because my skin is very sensitive and prone to allergic reactions, so I decided to wait about 30 days to give enough time for the products to work their “magic” on my skin. Honestly, I didn’t need 3 days to see the results because I could feel them immediately. I apply two pumps of the Serum Concentrate in my face and eyes (yes, those too!) everyday before going to bed, and during the day before putting on my make-up, and since it smells delicious the whole process its super pleasant. Hola Mis Bellezas!

Mi viaje a Nueva York para Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week fué increíble a pesar de que el clima estuvo completamente terrible. Muchísima nieve, granizo, calles resbaladizas llenas de hielo, y un viento tan fuerte que se siente como mil agujas en la cara. Como sabía que el clima iba a estar horrible me fuí preparada y metí en mis dos maletas de 50 libras (si!! 2!!) todos mis productos de belleza esenciales, además de uno nuevo que me ha encantado desde que lo comenzé a usar: Lumiere de Vie (o Luz de Vida) Serum Concentrado por Amber Ridinger.

El Serum Concentrado usa aclaradores, antioxidantes y extractos del mar para promover la producción de colágeno que ayudan a reafirmar la piel y reducir la apariencia de líneas finas, haciendo que la piel luzca radiante, con una complexión mas joven y mayor elasticidad. Desde que comenzé a utilizarlo mi piel se siente y ve más suave, saludable, renovada y humectada. La experiencia ha sido tan excelente que no he vuelto a utilizar ningún humectante ni fijador de maquillaje (primer) desde que empecé a usar Lumiere de Vie Serum Concentrado. Fué mi mayor arma para combatir el duro invierno de Nueva York y lo que uso para pelear contra el húmedo calor de Miami.

Normalmente dudo mucho en probar nuevos productos de belleza porque mi piel es muy sensible y propensa a reacciones alérgicas, así que decidí esperar 30 días antes de tomar una decisión acerca de Lumiere de Vie Serum Concentrado , todo con el propósito de darle suficiente tiempo a los ingredientes para que hicieran su “magia” en mi piel. Sin embargo, no necesité ni 3 días para ver los resultados, ya que de inmediato mi piel se sintió fresca y más suave. Desde ese momento utilizo 2 pumps en mi rostro y ojos (si!! Hasta en la delicada piel de los ojos!) todas las noches antes de dormir, y también durante el día antes de aplicar el maquillaje. Despite how competitive that particular business is, Lhuillier, won over the hearts of editors and brides-to-be who fell for the designs and interesting bead work. The Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear collection was one for the books. Not only were the gowns showstoppers, filled with detailed beading and extraordinary craftsmanship, but the prints chosen were extremely eye catching. Blues and neutrals, in shapes of fish scales and coral reefs, put a fresh twist into the timeless styles.

Whether their audience its sophisticated, bohemian, classic, edgy or sexy, they know what their buyers like and what their brand means to the public. Some try to venture into different territories without much success; however, there are others whose taste and design it’s so precise that no matter if they go beyond their comfort zone, the collections always come out impeccable. Diane Von Furstenberg is a master at this.
