Chambray, or denim, its one of the biggest Spring and Summer trends. Its lightweight, multi-faceted, and it can be dressed up or down. From day-to-night, chambray its a great everyday find. Loved the rhyme there, huh?! :) Well, incorporating pieces in this fabric into your closet might be one of the easiest things to do. From shirts, vests, pants, handbags, shoes and dresses, there isn’t a limit to the clothing and accessories that can be made from this multi-functional material.

A chambray button-up is such a wardrobe staple that it can be used as a shirt, cardigan, belted dress and jacket. You can mix and match it with short or long skirts, shorts, pants, maxi dresses and go from laid-back with sandals, casual with wedges or boho with fringed boots to ultra-chic with stilettos. Chambray its one of those textiles that goes well with other fabrics, so don’t be afraid to use it with lace, sequins, silk, or even pull an all-chambray look!

Cambray o Denim es una de las tendencias mas fuerte de Primavera y Verano ya que es liviana, multi-facética, puedes ser usada de día y de noche con unos simples toques que la hagan más vestidora o más casual. Incorporar piezas en tu clóset que estén hechas con esta tela es muy fácil ya que este material es super multi-funcional. Se pueden crear vestidos, blusas, pantalones, y hasta accesorios como bolsos y zapatos. Una camisa abotonada de Cambray (Denim) es una pieza indispensable en tu vestuario ya que puede ser usada como blusa, chaqueta, vestido corto o cardigan.

Una blusa de Cambray puede ser emparejada con shorts, faldas cortas o largas, vestidos largos o con pantalones, dependiendo del look que se quiera lograr. Si se desea un estilo más relajado se acompaña con sandalias, los wedges (zapatos de suela pareja) le dan un vibra casual, unas botas con flequillos le dan un toque bohemio, o si se quiere algo más chic-elegante entonces los tacones son perfectos. El Cambray o Denim liviano es uno de esos materiales que se pueden ser mezclados con otros textiles sin verse sobrecargado, así que no tengas miedo de combinarlo con encaje, seda, lentejuelas o crear un atuendo completamente en Denim!

The Great Gatsby its one of my favorite books. Since the 1st time I read it, the story and the characters truly captivated me. I was a Daisy dreaming of finding my own Gatsby one day. At that moment I was about 13yrs old and a lot has changed ever since; however, I have not lost my fascination for the decadent and opulent 1920′s era. About a year ago in Electric Gatsby I referred to this amazing piece of literature.

Hace mucho tiempo atrás el Arte para las Uñas no existía. El concepto de pintar nuestras uñas consistía en aprender a hacerlas a la francesa, usar tonos pasteles o claros, y mantener los colores atrevidos como el rojo (considerado para las chicas fáciles) y el negro (sólo para rockeras grunge o punk) fuera de nuestro gabinete. Afortunadamente los tiempos han cambiado y también las percepciones acerca de lo que es aceptable para las mujeres. Hola Mis Amigos!

Recuerdo cuando estaba mas joven y buscaba cosas que comprarle a mí mamá para el día de las madres. Durante muchas semanas le preguntaba indirectamente si se le habia acabado su perfueme favorito (a ella le encantan las fragancias!) Beauty Tricks: How To Contour Your Face!

True beauty has nothing to do with applying mascara or putting on designer clothes. It’s about been the best we can be for ourselves and for others. However, when it comes to makeup, little tricks that help us hide or highlight our features are the ones that make a difference. Contouring its one of the most important beauty secrets because it gives you the opportunity to use colors in different shades to create shadows or light, which will help you define or accentuate your face.

* To make an area standout: use a lighter tone that will illuminate the area and make it more visible. The Mary Kay Facial Highlighting Pen works wonders because its super lightweight, has light-reflecting pigments and comes with a built-in brush! Under the eyes it’s a perfect spot to use it because it allows you to dissimulate those awful dark circles and puffiness.

* To define your bone structure or slim: use a slighter darker tone than your natural color to help create more shadows and contour the area. I use a bronzer, like Mary Kay’s Mineral Bronzing Powder because it comes with 2 shades, which gives a more subtle and professional effect. You can apply it in your cheekbones, sides of your nose, chin, and anywhere that you wish to hide.

* For contouring your nose: take a small brush, preferably with an angle, and put the darker tone starting from the beginning of your eyebrows and finishing before the tip of your nose. Another trick for more fuller noses its to brush a dab at the bottom of the nose to create the effect of a slimmer nose.

La belleza real no tiene nada que ver con aplicarnos pestañina o ponernos ropa de diseñador, sino que se trata de ser lo mejor posible por nosotros mismos y por los demás. Cuando se trata de maquillaje lo que marca la diferencia son los pequeños trucos que usamos para esconder o destacar nuestros rasgos. Delinear los contornos es uno de los secretos de belleza más importantes porque nos permite usar distintos colores para crear sombras o luz que definan o acentuen nuestro rostro.

* Para resaltar un área: utiliza un tono más claro que ilumine esa parte y la haga más visible. El Pincel Facial iluminador de Mary Kay es una maravilla porque además de ser liviano, tiene pigmentos que reflejan la luz y una brochita que suelta el producto lentamente. Debajo de los ojos es el lugar ideal ya que te permite disimular las terribles ojeras y las bolsas.

* Para definir la estructura ósea o adelgazar: utiliza un color más oscuro que el tono natural de tu piel para crear sombras y así poder deliniar el área. Yo uso un Bronzeador Mineral en Polvo de Mary Kay porque viene en 2 tonos, los cuales dan un efecto más profundo y sutil. Te lo puedes aplicar en tus pómulos, lados de la nariz, mentón y cualquier lugar que desees esconder.

* Para deliniar la nariz: toma una brocha pequeña con ángulo y aplica un tono más oscuro comenzando desde el principio de las cejas hasta el final de la naríz. Para narizes mas gruesas puedes aplicar un poco de la sombra o bronzeador oscuro debajo de la nariz para crear una naríz mas delgada.
